Okay, it’s not just me

A customer today said, “We have the warmest tasting room [she’s] ever been to.” We get comments like that all the time. They love colors and the bar stools, the special touches like the fountain, the sink and Ghost, and the gift items. Yes, I’m bragging, trying to get you to stop by.

Almost Done

We are getting so close to having the tasting building done.  It is looking so great.  I don’t have alot of time to write a big story, but the pictures tell the story better anyway.  Our friends from California had a rock engraved for us.  It is beautiful and goes so nicely wth the fountain.  I am starting to put product out but have alot left to do and it takes alot of time to log it in the inventory.  RJ has been doing alot of finishing work with the doors, etc.  While we are not open officially, we let visitors come in and taste and we have made a few sales.  Enjoy the pictures.

The plantingThe Plants

I know it has been forever since I’ve updated this but it doesn’t mean that progress isn’t being made.  The biggest news is we are planted.  Yes, we have 15 acres, approximately 9000 plants in the ground, not to mention the posts, stakes, wires, etc.  On Thursday, most of the supplies were there; it was an unbelievable site.  So here are a couple of pictures with our progress.  These are only some of the plants but you get the idea.  As to my favorite subject, the paperwork…NOT!, we are making progess there also.  The public comment period for the county ended on February 21st.  We are hoping for Land Use approval in late spring.  Our Federal application is in and, hopefully, being processed.  The OLCC application is underway.
