Crafting, Repurposing and the Like; My First Love

February 13, 2015 Leave a comment

Hopefully, those of you who follow me know these things about me:

1.  I love to craft more than anything.

2.  I never throw any thing away.

3.  I love to repurpose things.

Well some time ago, a blade fell off of RJ’s rototiller attachment for his tractor.  That is what that round rusty thing is below.  It is on its side leaning on the fence railing.  In the middle is a hole where it attaches to the bar on the tractor attachment.  I told RJ not to throw it away.  It is slightly rounded.  About the same time, we had a huge anniversary party with lots of helium balloons and balloon weights.  After the balloon died, I took the sparkly weights apart and found small concrete disks in them as the weight.  I took three disks and glued them to the underside of the disk (would that be the convex or concave side, I forget), using two-part epoxy.  I now had a great plant stand for my outdoor plants.  Wow!
